Et mingi inspiratsioon mustri osas tööle hakkaks kammin oma põhjatuid Pinteresti albumeid ja mõne liniku muster annabki selle esimese otsa kätte, aga edasi tuleb juba kõik ise. Kui praegu peaks leidma selle konkreetse mustri kust ma selle kleidi kaelaosaks idee sain, siis otsiks ma seda ilmselt ikka väga kaua. Kas siiski leiaks.

The latest red dress gave me the feeze of frills and so I just kept on going.

20 skeins of dark blue Drops Loves You 7 yarn was waiting from this summer. Crochet hook no 3 and ready, steady , go! To get the inspiration about the pattern I comb my bottomless folders of Pinterest and some doily chart usually gives me the idea. The rest comes itself. If I had to find the "original" pattern of the collar pattern idea I´d probably had to search for veeery long. 

Alustasin niisiis kaelaaugust ja hakkasin allapoole tulema. Mustrid sündisid ise. Volangide muster on tuletatud kaelaaugu mustrist. 

Volangide all on fileetehnikas võrk.

It is crocheted from up to down. The patterns were born on the way. The pattern of the flounce is similar to the collar part.

Below the flounces is filet-technique net.

Selle Manni seljas tuletab mulle see kleit kangesti meelde ühte tualeti mida kandis Lady Cora Downton Abbey´s. Aga küllap mul seostub ikka kõik Downton Abbey´ga...

Worn by my Manny the dress very much reminds me one outfit Lady Cora from Downton Abbey wore. But I guess everything still reminds me of Downton Abbey...

Lõnga kulus lõpuks vist kuskil 16-17 tokki, enam ei mäletagi täpselt.

Pole ka kleiti kaalule pannud. Eks ta ikka kilo ringis ole.

Mulle teatud määral meeldib just see etapp tööst kui ma jõuan nende volangide tegemiseni. Kui muster on paigas, siis enam pole vaja mõelda, et kuidas ma nüüd kahandan-kasvatan...millise kaare või augu ma kuhugi jätan. Lihtsalt heegeldan. Mulle ikka meeldib tegelikult see rutiin kui on vaja lihstalt uhada. Mõelda ja kujundada enam pole tarvis.

I guess it took about 16-17 skeins of yarn. Can´t remember anymore.

Havent weighed the dress eithe. But it has to be around kilo.

I actually love the part where the flounce pattern is clear and there is no need to think anymore where to increase or decrease and where to leave an hole or arc. Just crochet. I love the routine where I don`t have to think and design anymore. Just to bundle off with the hook.

The over-the-edge flounce-design and this dim lusterless cotton leave an interesting contradictional contrast for the dress.

With lush jewerly and accessiories it is definately an evening gown, but with light lining and no jewelry it might very well be just a summer dress with volume.

But about that some other time.

Punane uueks / The renewal of the red

See satsiline punane kleit sündis juba suvel.

Punane suvekleit

Aga ega seda satsihunnikut ikka ainult peenikesed õlapaelad üleval ei suutnud hoida. Seega tekkis vajadus teha kleidi ülaosa toekamaks. Millegipärast said võitu jälle augud ja kellukas-varrukad.

Ja sündiski natuke nagu täitsa uus kleit. Nüüd jaksab toekam ülaosa ka seda satsikuhja üleval hoida.

But the thin ribbons on the shoulders didn`t have the strenght to keep the frilly-pile up. Hence there was a need to make the top part of the dress a bit more bearing. Somehow the holes in front and back and the bellflower-sleeves came to me again.

Well and a tiny bit like a new dress was born again. And the "stronger" top of the dress has the strenght now to keep the whole thing together.

Keerasin punasel vindi üle / I overdid the red

Ma ikka väga armastan Dropsi lõnga. Ja Drops armastab mind ka. Nii ta vähemalt ütleb. Juba seitsmendat korda. Niisiis viimane eriväljaanne Drops Loves You 7 on taaskord üks igavesti mõnus, pehme taaskasutus puuvill. Eriti armsaks teeb selle muidugi hinna ja kvaliteedi suhe. See on Dropsil alati paigas olnud.

Leidsin siis sellest kastist, kus Drops mind seitsmendat korda armastab ühe punase lõnga.

Mitu ideed käis peast läbi aga päris täpselt ei teadnud küll, mida sellest teha. Selge oli vaid see, et läheb taas heegeldamiseks. Alustasin roosidega. Lopsakate, paksude, kolmekihiliste roosidega.

I love Drops yarns. And apparently Drops loves me too. At least it says so. Already the seventh time. Namely the last edition of Drops Loves You 7 is one helluva nice, soft recycled cotton yarn. Especially I love the price/quality ratio. Drops has it well-set.

I found one great red yarn from the basket where Drops loves me the seventh time. I had many different ideas but nothing concrete. One thing was for sure though - crochet again.  So just begun with roses. Lush, three-layer roses.

Ülemine ots sai lihtne traksidega särgike. Ja siis oli vaja mõelda kuidas roosidest allapoole tulla.

Kuna roosid olid juba piisavalt kõva panus, siis otsustasingi vinti veel peale keerata. Hakkasid satsid.

The top part is simple tank top style with slim straps. So then I had to think how to solve the skirt part. The roses were kind a hard bet already hence decided to overdo the bottom. Started with frou-frou.

Muster on imelihtne. Lihtsalt sambaid. Samas tagantjärgi tarkusega oleksin võibolla satsid väheke hõredamad teinud. Polegi vaja, et nad nii tihked oleksid. Kogu kupatus on nüüd hirmus soe. See puuvill on selline imepehme, isegi natuke karvane.

The pattern is extremely simple. Just pillars. I think maybe I should have done a bit more sparse pattern. It does not need to be so dense. Now it is very warm. The cotton is so soft , it is even a bit woolly.

Sellise võrgu peal need satsid siis jooksevad. Polnudki neid nii hirmus tülikas teha kui ma alguses kartsin. ma tegelikult aeg-ajalt naudin just sellist monotoonset tööd kus ei pea üldse mõtlema, kasvatama, kahandama, mustrit jälgima, silmi lugema... Lihtsalt istud ja heegeldad. Mõnus.

So this is the base net the layers are attached to. It wasnt so annoying to do as I at first was afraid of. Sometimes I actually love thiskind of monotone work where one doe nto have to think, to increase, to decrease, to follow the pattern, to count the stitches.... Just sit and crochet. Lovely.

Niisiis lõngaks Drops Loves You 7, taaskasutatud puuvill.

Heegelnõel nr 3. Kleit kaalub 800g, mis tähendab, et käiku läks 16 tokki.

So the yarn is Drops Loves You 7, recycled cotton.

Crochet hook no 3. The dress is 800g, meaning it took 16 skeins of yarn.

Mul on õnneks ka üks ilus sugulane, kes oli taas nõus kleidi selga ajama ja pildile tulema.

Suvine must / Summerish black

Kevad-suvise kollektsiooni esitlus jätkub.

Mulle millegipärast ikka enamus kleite "venivad" pikkadeks. Lühikestega saab see mõnus töö kuidagi liiga ruttu otsa. Niisiis võtsin ühe oma lemmikutest lõngadest - Drops Safran , ja läksin eriti igavat teed: musta teed. Safran on lemmik, sest ta on kammitud puuvill ja seega eriti pehme ja mõnus kanda.

Edasi lõige - jälle igav, trompet. Aga no töötab noh.

Ülejäänud inspiratsioon tuli jälle mu lemmikute: Zuhair Muradi ja Elie Saabi loomingut jälgides. Neil küll pole endil midagi heegeldatut (või kui on, siis väga vähe ja ma pole tabanud) aga nende looming inspireerib mind heegeldama.

Niisiis saage tuttavaks minu suvine must.

Spring-summer 2016 collection launch continues.

I dont know why but the majority of my dresses somehow come out full length. To make a short dress is too little work for me. So I took one of my favourite yarns - Drops Safran and a very boring choice of colour - black. Safran is good because it is combed cotton and hence extremely soft and nice to wear.

Next - the pattern. Boring choice again - trumpet. Well, but it works.

The rest of the inspiration came from my favourite fashion designers: Zuhair Murad and Elie Saab. I havent found any crochet items of theirs but their creations inspire me to crochet.

So, you are welcome to meet my summerish black.

Mustrid ma viimasel ajal teen ise. Otsin küll midagi sobivat selle musta miljoni faili hulgast, mis mul kogutud, aga ükski kunagi ei kõlba.

Ja kleidid teen tihti ikka keskelt üles ja keskelt alla.

Ja jälle üks lihtsaima vastupanu tee -  paatkaelus.

The patterns I lately make myself. I usually search through all my zillion-trillion chart files and none of them is ever good enough.

The dresses are also mainly from the middle to top and from the middle to the bottom.

And the collar is again one of the simplest solutions - boat shape.

Ihuvärvi lühikese voodriga annabki kenasti suvekleidi mõõdu välja. Täispikk must vooder alla ja on aastaringne õhtukleit.

Nii lihtsalt see käibki.

Aga seda musta voodriga varianti tuleb praegu lihtsalt ette kujutada.

With the nude short lining it is summer dress. Wearing a full length black lining it is all year evening gown.

As simple as that.

But the black lining version must be currently imagined.

Fuksiaroosa õhtukleit /Fuchsia-pink evening gown

Ostsin kunagi ainult värvi pärast Drops Safranit paraja kuhja. Mul tihti juhtub, et ma ostan lõngu värvi pärast. Nii ka nüüd selle fuksiaroosaga.

Tükk aega ei teadnud, mida sellest teha. Aga mul ju tuleb kohe kleit, nii kui heegelnõela kuskile lõnga sisse ajan - ja jälle juhtus nii.

I bought this yarn again because of it´s colour. This happens a lot. I did´t know what to do of it, but I always end up with a dress. And once again.

Tuleb välja, et ideaalne lõng  kleidiks. On küll korrutamata ja pisut ebamugav heegeldada, aga ma olen ka juba sellega harjunud. 

Tegemist on kammitud puuvillaga, mis teeb materjali eriti pehmeks ja langevaks. Selga pane nagu puhast siidi.

Turns out to be a perfect yarn for dresses. It is uncoiled yarn though, hence a bit uncomfortable to crochet but I am used to it aswell already.

It is combed cotton hence extremely soft and feels like pure silk when worn.

Kleit on heegeldatud ühes tüki, ülevalt alla. Mustrid tuletatud erinevatest linikutest, mis Interneti avarustest on silma jäänud.

Lõnga kulus vist ca 600g , heegelnõel nr. 3.5

The dress is made from top to bottom. The patterns are my modifications of different doily patterns from the Internet.

I used about 600g of the yarn and hook no. 3,5

Seelikuosa on A-lõikeliselt laienev juba puusadest. Alläärt päris ära mõõtnud pole, aga päris klossiks kisub teine.

Ka voodri õmbleisn seekord ise. Pikal kleidil peab olema ikka täispikk vooder. Leidisn imekombel väga sobivat värvi kanga. 

The skirt part is A pattern and widens up already from the hips. I havent quite measured the bottom edge but it is preety wide indeed.

I managed to find fitting fabric for the lining and sewed it myself this time. Long dress has to have full lenght lining.
