Ega enne ühestki rõivast sotti ei saa kui keegi kena inimene selle endale selga on ajanud. Seega las täna jälle pildid räägivad minu eest. Kaks varasemalt valminud kleiti: veidi suur-gatsbylik ja mahe punane oma uues tulemises - lubage esitleda.

Kui on vaja minna mehele / If there´s a need to get married

Mulle tuli väljakutse heegeldada kohe üks täiesti päris pruudi kleit. Ega ma sellisel puhul vastu ei punni. Veel vähem teen pikka juttu. Pika kleidi teen küll.

Lumivalge. 100% puuvill. Almina 8/2 ja heegelnõel 2,5. Ja läks!

I got a challenge to crochet one real bridal dress. I have no objections in this case.

 No long story but long dress indeed.

Pure white. 100% cotton. Almina 8/2 and crochet hook no 2,5. And go!

Kõige tähtsam on leida paat... ei, ilus modell. Siis haarata fotokas kaenlasse ja raudteele.

Ehted ikka ka Vivrut brändilt.

Kiire kamps kooli / Quick sweater to school

Heegeldatud kleite on tüdrukul küll. Ühte lihtsat kampsunit, millega koolis käia, ei ole.

Ema on. Kududa oskab. Noh?

My girl has several crochet dresses but no simple sweater to go to school every day.

She has a mother who can knit. Well?

Jäme puuvillane lintlõng. Vardad olid vist nr 7.

Mudel lihtsamast lihtsam.

Thick cotton tape yarn. Pins were no 7 if I remember correcty.

Pattern is the easiest of the easiers.

Aga taaskord on mida õppida järgmisteks kordadeks:

jämedast lõngast mitte mingil juhul külgepandud varrukaid!

Ainult õmblusteta mudelid edaspidi.

Õmblused jäävad ikka jube koledad.

What to remember the next time:

no way separately attatched sleeves in case of thick yarn any more!

Only seamless patterns from now on.

Seams are really ugly.

Ja eks see hiiglaslik palmik väikese inimese puhul sai ka väheke üle pingutatud.

Also the huge cable in front of a small sweater wasn´t the best of ideas.

Väheke olen nagu ebaõnnestumiste lainel, aga seda ägedamad peaks edaspidi tooted tulema.

Kooliraha on kõvasti makstud jälle.

Seda pulloveri üles ei tõmba. Las trööpab koolis ribadeks.

Somehow it seems I am a bit on unlucky stream right now. But that only means that the next stuff will be marvelous!

Kõik sugugi ei õnnestu / Everything just isn´t supposed to work out.

Tassisin ju suures eufoorias seda eelmainitud bambust koju mõeldes, et "oiiii kuidas nüüd heegeldan!"

No tegelikult heegeldasingi ju. Kohe. Esmaspäeva õhtul tassisin lõnga koju ja kolmapäevaks oli tüdrukule kleit valmis. Ma ütleks , et Titanicu efekt. Kihutasin ja siis jäämäe otsa ja siis teadagi mis.

Mis siis juhtus? Mis ta ikka juhtus. Nõme kleit tuli.

As I told earlier, I dragged a bagful of bamboo yarn home and thought "well, watch me now how will I crochet!" I did crochet, indeed. Monday evening I got the yarn and wednesday evening the dress for my girl was ready. Titanic effect. I belted along too fast, hit the iceberg and then to wit what.

What happened? Well, ugly dress happened.

Esmapilgul võib ju tekkida küsimus, et milles probleem. Et pole viga ju. Aga juba tüdruku nägu räägib palju.

Mis siis viga on? Esteks ta istub keskelt nagu vorst. Teiseks ei tohiks sellisest libedast lõngast kindlasti teha nii suurte aukudega mustrit ja sellist laudlinast seelikut pole ka kirjust lõngast mõtet teha. Kaenlaaugud ei kannata üldse mingit kriitikat. 

At first glance one may ask what is the problem. Not bad, you say. But already my girls face says it all.

At first the middle part is like a sausage, then the upper pattern is just too full of too big holes. It just doesn`t suit well and at last the doily pattern for the skirt part doesn´t make any sence in case of the colourful yarn. The armpit area is the worst though. Just ugly.

Igaljuhul kooli sellega küll ei kannatanud esimesel päeval minna ja tuli valida üks teine nendest "sajast" muust ema heegeldatud kleitidest.

Aga ega ma ei kavatse sellest lõngast loobuda. Samuti ei kavatse ma loobuda ideest teha sellest ikka üks kleit. Sellele tuleb läheneda lihtsalt teisiti. Ülaosa tihedam muster. Üldse lihtsam muster, sest värvid teevad juba oma töö.

Läheb ülesharutamisele.

Aga palun võtke seda kui võimalust õppida minu vigadest.

Anyways, no way she did go to school with the dress the first day. She just had to wear one of the other "hundred" of dresses her mother has made.

But I have no attention to give up the yarn either the idea to crochet a dress out of it.

It just needs to be approached differently. More tight pattern for the upper part. Simplerer pattern in general, as the colourfulness does the work itself already.

It will be raveled out.

But please consider it a possibility to learn from my mistakes!

Materjalist olen ikkagi vaimustatud. 

Kuidas ta küll langeb ja keerutab. Lai seelik tuleb teha igaljuhul!

The set-back doesn´t decrease my puppy love for this yarn though.

It just twirls like heaven. The skirt part will be wide!
